Job description
Join a 13-week travel contract supporting a 32-bed surgical unit in Lebanon, New Hampshire. This assignment is designed for an experienced medical-surgical nurse who is comfortable caring for post-operative patients following vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgery. The work includes managing chest tubes, central lines, drains, tracheostomies, laryngectomies, telemetry, complex wounds, and medication drips such as diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone. Expect 12-hour night shifts, a five-to-one nurse-to-patient ratio, and occasional floating to meet unit needs.
