Job Description:
This travel assignment supports emergency care for adult and pediatric patients in a Level II trauma setting with STEMI and stroke certifications. The traveler will work overnight shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, managing urgent and complex cases that may include trauma, respiratory emergencies, neurologic conditions, cardiac concerns, behavioral health needs, and multisystem dysfunction. Responsibilities include triage, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, 12-lead EKGs, IV access, arterial and central line care, blood product administration, sedation, ventilator support, emergency medications, and care for patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, or vasopressors. Every other weekend is required, with additional weekend coverage or floating possible based on unit needs.
