Job description
Join us for a 26-week travel contract at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, where you'll work in the highly specialized CV PreOp unit. This role involves 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with opportunities to stay late once or twice a week. In this position, you'll be part of a close-knit team managing critical preoperative care for cardiac patients, performing procedures like large-bore IV starts and assisting with arterial and central line placements. Your expertise will help ensure smooth patient preparations for surgery, transport to OR, and support during induction and intubation. The unique setting combines the rush of high-acuity case management with the satisfaction of contributing to a top-ranked hospital recognized nationally for quality and safety.
