Job description

Seeking experienced Critical Care Unit nurses for a 13-week travel contract in Glendale, CA. This role involves covering 12-hour night shifts on specialized telemetry units, focusing on high-acuity cardiac patients such as CHF, pneumonia, and sepsis. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing titratable medications like heparin and non-titrating drips such as Cardizem and Amio. You'll work alongside dedicated monitor techs and will need to interpret GE telepacks and bedside monitors. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your critical care skills in a dedicated tele unit with opportunities to work on a split unit setup, including a challenging 8th-floor Tele I that requires strong customer service and teamwork. Experience in CCU or high-end stepdown units with at least two years of telemetry background is preferred. Travel nurses will be first to float, primarily within ICU/CCU, and must be flexible with unit needs. A lively but rewarding environment awaits those ready to step into this high-end telemetry setting.
