Travel RN Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Employment Type: Travel nursing contract
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• End Date: January 22, 2027
• Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Times: Days, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; nights, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Flexibility: Rotating between day and night shifts may be required based on operational needs
• Floating: May float to comparable units caring for the same patient population, including emergency care areas

Med-Surg Telemetry RN Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent permanent experience in Med-Surg Tele nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Active ACLS certification
• Active NIHSS certification
• Strong cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry-monitoring skills
• Ability to successfully complete required medication-safety and ECG rhythm assessments during orientation
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment
• Professional reference from a recent nurse manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty
• Ability to complete required compliance, background screening, and orientation activities before and during the assignment

Travel Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs
• Interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders and nursing standards
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
• Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, medications, and discharge planning
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
• Respond effectively to changes in condition and participate in emergency interventions as needed
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-centered care environment
• Adapt to floating assignments while maintaining consistent standards of care for the patient population
