Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930–$2,030
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Assignment Duration: Approximately 26 weeks, through April 18, 2027
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; every other weekend and every other holiday
• Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse assignment

Travel RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Iowa
• At least 1 year of recent experience in neurology, medical-surgical, or telemetry nursing
• Demonstrated ability to assess and care for adult patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions
• Strong clinical judgment, patient assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotations

Neuro RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions
• Perform focused neurological assessments and promptly report changes in patient status
• Monitor telemetry, vital signs, laboratory results, and patient responses to treatment
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established standards
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatments, and discharge needs
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and support a safe patient-care environment
