Job description
Join a dedicated team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse in Evansville, Indiana, for a 13-week travel contract. In this role, you'll be working 12-hour day shifts at a busy 41-bed unit, handling a variety of post-surgical cases, UTI, sepsis, COPD, CHF, and high fall risk patients. You'll use your strong assessment and critical thinking skills to monitor chest tubes, NG/PEG tubes, administer blood products, manage heparin drips, and more. This position offers a chance to work in a skilled environment with experienced leadership and a supportive CNA staff. A bit of a flip — you'll also be expected to precept students or new hires, adding a rewarding teaching element to your work experience.
