Travel Nursing Job Details

• Position: Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)
• Assignment Type: Travel contract
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department / Emergency Room
• Location: St. Louis Park/Minneapolis, Minnesota
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130–$2,250
• Start Date: October 4, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 8 weeks, ending November 29, 2026
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shift: Rotating 12-hour evening and night shifts, including approximately 3:00 p.m. and 3:00 a.m. start times
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: As needed
• On-Call: None

Travel ER RN Job Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience
• Active Minnesota Registered Nurse license; Minnesota is a non-compact state
• Current NIHSS certification
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current PALS certification from the American Heart Association or ENPC certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Ability to float within the Emergency Room as needed
• Availability to meet applicable weekend and holiday scheduling needs

Emergency Room Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform focused assessments, prioritize care, and respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical protocols
• Support emergency interventions, stabilization, and patient transitions to the appropriate level of care
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to promote efficient, high-quality patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptly
• Adapt to changing patient volumes and acuity while maintaining a calm, professional approach
