Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250–$2,370
• Location: Cleveland, Ohio
• Healthcare Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
• Shift Times: Days, approximately 7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; nights, approximately 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• Start Date: October 23, 2026
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, ending January 22, 2027
• Work Arrangement: On-site travel nursing assignment
• Scheduling Note: Shift assignments may vary based on operational needs, with efforts made to honor preferred shifts.

Travel Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent permanent experience as a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or an active compact-state license in hand
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to provide one recent professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty
• Successful completion of required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication-safety testing
• Willingness to float to comparable units, including emergency care areas, while caring for the same patient population
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during the assignment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, identify changes in patient condition, and escalate concerns promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely while following established clinical standards
• Complete patient assessments, care plans, clinical documentation, and patient education
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate individualized patient care
• Provide safe transitions of care through effective handoffs and timely communication
• Adapt to rotating day and night assignments and support patient care across designated float areas
