Physical Therapist Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810–$1,940

Physical Therapist Job Requirements

• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current Arizona Physical Therapist license in good standing
• At least 1 year of outpatient clinical experience
• Experience or demonstrated interest in orthopedic rehabilitation
• Current CPR certification
• Ability to provide care in accordance with applicable Arizona practice standards and professional guidelines
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication, organization, and documentation skills

Outpatient Physical Therapist Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive evaluations of assigned patients and identify functional limitations.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized outpatient physical therapy treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and physician direction.
• Provide therapeutic interventions that support safe, effective progress toward discharge and return to community activities.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress, goals, medical necessity, and charges accurately and promptly.
• Coordinate and direct discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, home exercise programs, safety, and progress.
• Maintain a safe treatment environment and follow appropriate patient-handling, infection-control, and workplace-safety practices.
• Participate in quality-improvement initiatives, professional development, and continuing education.
• Support students and colleagues through collaboration, mentorship, and a positive learning environment when assigned.
