Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
• Location: Muskegon, Michigan
• Healthcare Setting: Emergency Department
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• End Date: January 17, 2027
• Schedule: Night shifts, 3:00 PM-3:30 AM
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Emergency Department RN Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for license verification
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience, preferably in an emergency department
• Emergency Room (ER) or acute care nursing experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including alternating weekends and holidays
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, prioritization, and teamwork skills
• Completion of required clinical competency and onboarding documentation

Emergency Room Nurse Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and provide nursing care to patients with urgent and emergent conditions
• Monitor patient status and promptly recognize changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate timely patient care
• Perform and document focused assessments, interventions, reassessments, and patient responses
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Maintain accurate documentation while supporting patient safety and emergency department flow
