Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000–$2,100
• Specialty: Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks, ending January 17, 2027
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule: Every other weekend and every other holiday

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible for practice in Michigan
• At least 1 year of professional nursing experience; emergency department experience strongly preferred
• Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience with demonstrated ability to care for patients across the acuity spectrum
• Current required life-support and emergency nursing certifications, as applicable to the assignment
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Successful completion of required credentialing, competency, background, health, and compliance screening
• Strong patient assessment, prioritization, communication, and teamwork skills

Emergency Department RN Responsibilities

• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with emergent and urgent medical conditions
• Provide timely, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Monitor patient status, identify changes in condition, and promptly escalate concerns
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support effective patient outcomes
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain readiness for rapidly changing clinical situations
• Document assessments, interventions, patient responses, and care plans accurately
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and a positive patient care experience
