• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; schedule may vary
• Shifts: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Holiday Availability: Must work two of the following three major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, plus one minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve

Oncology Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• At least 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current chemotherapy certification
• Demonstrated ability and authorization to administer chemotherapy
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and care coordination skills

Radiation Oncology Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients receiving oncology and radiation oncology services
• Assess patients before, during, and after treatment and promptly report changes in condition
• Safely administer chemotherapy and other prescribed oncology therapies in accordance with established protocols
• Monitor patients for treatment responses, adverse reactions, and potential complications
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, symptom management, and follow-up care
• Collaborate with providers and the multidisciplinary cancer care team to coordinate individualized patient care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold oncology nursing and patient safety standards
