Primary Care Physician Job Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
• At least 5 years of physician or clinical experience
• Active Florida medical license or eligibility for applicable state licensure
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine
• Internal Medicine experience preferred
• Ability to complete required tuberculosis screening for this patient-facing role
• Strong commitment to improving patient experiences and delivering high-quality outpatient care

Outpatient Primary Care Physician Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and geriatric patients
• Evaluate and manage a broad range of acute and chronic health conditions
• Perform physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and monitor patient progress
• Focus on health maintenance, preventive medicine, and chronic disease management
• Maintain accurate medical histories and electronic patient records
• Coordinate referrals to specialists and other healthcare professionals when appropriate
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while supporting continuity of care
