Job Details

• Position: CVOR Tech / Cardiovascular Operating Room Tech
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Healthcare Setting: Hospital Cardiovascular Operating Room
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,060 - $2,210
• Schedule: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 10-hour day shifts
• Shift Pattern: Approximately 4 shifts per week
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• End Date: 2/1/2027

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of CST experience
• At least 2 years of cardiac and vascular experience
• 1 year of CVOR experience required
• 1 year of Level I Trauma experience required
• Scrub experience required
• Endovascular experience is a hard-stop requirement
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• BLS certification required
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and OR safety practices
• Ability to support advanced cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgical procedures

Responsibilities

• Scrub for cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases in a high-acuity operating room
• Assist with procedures including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, and other complex cardiac surgeries
• Prepare, organize, and maintain surgical instruments, trays, and supplies for each case
• Support sterile technique, case setup, and efficient intraoperative workflow
• Complete equipment documentation and help ensure accurate case readiness
• Assist with crash cart readiness, scrub/circulate support, and OR safety processes
• Contribute to efficient room turnover and quality patient care for adult and geriatric patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, registered nurses, and surgical services staff to keep procedures running smoothly
