Job Requirements

• Active Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Acute care, inpatient rehab, or hospital-based therapy experience strongly preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing patient needs and support coverage where needed most
• Professional, team-oriented approach with strong communication and clinical skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients in a hospital setting
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support recovery, mobility, and functional independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in the medical record
• Assist patients with improving strength, function, balance, and overall mobility
• Provide safe, effective, high-quality physical therapy services in an acute care environment
• Float between coverage areas as needed to support scheduling demands and patient care needs
