Orthopedic Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nursing Job in Tulsa, Oklahoma
Join a dynamic orthopedic care team in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as a Travel Registered Nurse supporting adult and geriatric patients on a busy ortho/spine unit. This 13-week travel nursing assignment offers the chance to grow your orthopedic nursing career in a supportive hospital setting with competitive weekly pay.

- Schedule: 12-hour day shifts

Job Requirements
- Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Experience with Epic charting required
- Comfortable caring for orthopedic, spine, and med/surg overflow patients
- Ability to float to like units within scope as needed
- Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate nursing care to orthopedic and spine patients
- Monitor patient status, assess changes, and respond appropriately to clinical needs
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to care plans
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to promote recovery and mobility
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain clear communication with the care team
- Support post-operative care, pain management, and discharge readiness
- Assist with patient education to encourage healing and self-care after discharge
- Float to comparable units when needed and provide flexible support based on facility needs
