Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided
- Minimum of 1 year of recent full-time equivalent nursing experience within the last 3 years
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
- ACLS certification required
- Five-plus years of recent Labor and Delivery experience and High Risk OB experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients
- Monitor maternal and fetal status and respond quickly to changing clinical needs
- Assist with high-risk deliveries and support safe, positive birth outcomes
- Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team
- Administer medications, maintain accurate documentation, and follow clinical protocols
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the labor and delivery process
- Contribute to a calm, organized, and patient-centered care environment
