• Duration: 12 weeks
• Shift Duration: 12-hour days
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,030 - $3,190

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where care is provided
• Minimum of 1 year of recent, full-time equivalent Labor & Delivery nursing experience within the last 3 years
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• ACLS certification preferred or required based on unit needs
• Labor & Delivery experience required; high-risk OB experience preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based maternal care to laboring and postpartum patients
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support high-risk labor and delivery cases with confidence, clinical judgment, and strong nursing skills
• Assist with fetal monitoring, labor support, and delivery room preparation
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary care team to promote positive outcomes
• Respond to maternal and neonatal emergencies with critical thinking and composure
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times
