• Position: Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN)

• Start Date: 10/19/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Tuesday, Thursday, Friday with call and late days as needed
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Setting: Operating Room / Perioperative Services
• Charting: Allscripts experience preferred; Altera experience preferred
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,110 - $2,220

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience or related surgical services experience
• Craniotomy and burr hole experience required
• Experience with neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotic/trauma cases strongly preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS, CNOR, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred or required as applicable
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or Level II experience preferred
• Travel nurse experience preferred
• Must be able to complete required onboarding labs within 72 hours of offer acceptance

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a busy Operating Room environment
• Support a broad surgical case mix, including neuro/spine, ortho/trauma, and general/robotics procedures
• Deliver safe, efficient patient care across adolescent, adult, pediatric, and geriatric populations
• Prepare the operating room, anticipate surgeon needs, and maintain sterile technique throughout procedures
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Assist with complex cases requiring craniotomy and burr hole expertise
• Adapt to call requirements, late days, and changing case volume while maintaining a patient-first approach
• Contribute to a supportive team culture focused on safety, efficiency, and excellent surgical care
