Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating day/night 12-hour shifts
• Shift Duration: 12 hours
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Weekend/Holiday Rotation: Every other weekend and holidays as needed
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 10/12/2026

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Minimum of 2 years of inpatient acute care experience in the specialty within the last 3 years
• Experience starting IVs required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Epic charting experience required
• Telemetry competency test must be passed prior to start
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work rotating day/night shifts and float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry findings
• Start and maintain IVs and support a wide range of bedside nursing needs
• Care for patients with diverse diagnoses in an acute care, family medicine setting
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams to promote safe patient outcomes
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain strong clinical workflows
• Adapt to a structured environment with float expectations and rotating shift coverage
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in a respected academic healthcare setting
