• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Location: Madison, Wisconsin 53718
• Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday rotation based on operational needs
• Floating: Required as needed
• Orientation: 20 hours

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• BLS certification required, AHA only
• Successful completion of a telemetry exam prior to start
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to float as needed within the hospital
• Must meet compliance requirements and pass all pre-assignment testing

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for Med/Surg Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support safe patient care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in Epic
• Educate patients and families with clear communication and compassionate bedside care
• Adapt quickly to changing clinical needs and floating assignments as required
• Maintain compliance with unit policies, safety standards, and patient care expectations
