• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour schedule (06:45 - 19:15)
• Hours Per Week: 36

• On-Call: Yes, up to 3 call shifts in an 8-week schedule period
• Weekend Requirement: Yes, per unit needs
• Float Requirement: Yes, within scope to meet facility needs and between like units
• Scrubs: Provided
• Orientation: Included at assignment start

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience
• Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center required
• Prior travel surgical technologist experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current DORA certification required
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced perioperative environment
• Strong experience across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Must be comfortable with weekend coverage, on-call shifts, and floating as needed

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Operating Room for a wide variety of surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and the perioperative team during complex, high-acuity cases
• Maintain sterile technique and support safe, efficient surgical workflows
• Handle diverse case types including trauma, general surgery, neuro, vascular, orthopedics, and more
• Support patient care for adult surgical populations in a Level I Trauma Center
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support smooth room turnover and patient flow
• Adapt to changing staffing needs, floating, and varying start times when required
• Contribute to a team-oriented environment built around quality, safety, and excellent patient outcomes
