• Schedule Notes: Weekend and holiday rotations based on operational needs; floating required as needed

Job Requirements

• 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in an inpatient hospital setting
• Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse license or compact RN license
• BLS certification from AHA required
• Epic EHR charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must successfully pass a telemetry exam prior to start
• Comfortable providing care for adult and geriatric patients
• Ability to float as needed and work weekend/holiday rotations

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients in an acute care environment
• Monitor telemetry rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and support common med-surg interventions and treatments
• Assist with IV therapy, oxygen administration, isolation precautions, and wound care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic
• Float to other nursing units as needed to support patient care coverage
• Complete pre-start telemetry testing successfully prior to assignment start
