Overview

This 13-week pediatric physical therapy contract offers the opportunity to deliver patient-centered care in an outpatient setting with a consistent weekday schedule. You will work with a collaborative care team while managing your own caseload and supporting high-quality rehabilitation outcomes for children and families.

Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks, with potential to extend up to 26 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,060 - $2,210
• Setting: Acute care hospital outpatient pediatric therapy
• Shift Duration: 8-hour days
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; any 8 hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM
• Hours Per Week: 40
• Start Date: ASAP
• Charting System: Epic
• Parking: Free parking available
• Location: Apple Valley, CA 92307

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of Physical Therapist experience required
• Pediatric physical therapy experience required; candidates must be comfortable working independently
• Valid California Physical Therapist license required
• BLS certification required
• Ability to commit to a Monday-Friday schedule
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
• Experience with Epic charting is helpful

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
• Create individualized treatment plans focused on mobility, strength, coordination, and functional outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and timely in Epic
• Work independently while maintaining high standards of patient care
• Collaborate with the care team to support optimal therapy outcomes
• Educate patients and families on therapy goals, exercises, and home programs
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in every patient interaction
