• Setting: Progressive Care Unit / Mixed Acuity Transplant & Hepatology
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week; weekdays with occasional weekends and rotating holidays
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Charting System: Epic
• Weekend Coverage: Required
• Float Requirement: May be required to float within the organization as needed

Job Requirements

• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 1 year of recent registered nursing experience required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Experience with the Epic charting system required
• Strong skills in telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, IV therapy, central line care, PICC line management, and stepdown/progressive care nursing
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Ability to adapt to a mixed-acuity adult patient population
• Two professional references required, including one from a manager, director, supervisor, or other formal leader
• Flu vaccine required unless medically exempt

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care for adult patients in a progressive care setting
• Monitor telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in cardiac rhythm and patient condition
• Care for patients with transplant, hepatology, GI bleed, AKI, infection, and diabetes-related diagnoses
• Support recovery for kidney biopsy and paracentesis patients
• Perform and maintain peripheral, central line, and PICC line care according to unit protocols
• Manage IV insulin protocols, oxygen therapy, and other common stepdown interventions
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary support teams to promote excellent patient outcomes
• Float to different units within the organization as needed
