Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro ICU Job in Columbus, OH

• Shift: Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Hours Per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 11/2/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040

Job Requirements

• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at the time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing or neuro-critical care experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA only)
• Experience with Epic preferred
• Strong clinical skills in telemetry, ventilator management, IV starts, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• Two professional references required, including at least one manager, director, or formal supervisor

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for adult patients with complex neurological and neurosurgical conditions
• Monitor and manage patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, seizures, meningitis, and post-operative neurosurgical needs
• Care for mechanically ventilated patients and support invasive neuromonitoring, including EVD and ICP monitoring
• Assist with bedside procedures such as tracheostomy care, PEG-related support, central line and arterial line management, and EVD placement
• Administer and titrate critical medications, including vasoactive drips and sedation protocols, per unit standards
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response, and other interdisciplinary care teams
• Maintain safe, efficient care delivery while adapting to a self-scheduled, high-acuity ICU environment
