• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: November 2, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse
• Orientation: 36 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Some weekends required
• Floating: Float within the organization as needed
• Call: Required

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent RN nursing experience required
• Valid compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS required
• Experience caring for adult patients with chronic medical conditions and mixed-acuity needs
• Comfort working in a telemetry, stepdown, progressive care, or med-surg environment
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Experience with isolation precautions, PPE, and infection prevention practices
• Ability to manage telemetry patients, oxygen therapy, and peripheral IV lines
• References required upon submission
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a Med/Surg Tele and stepdown setting
• Monitor telemetry, identify rhythm changes, and escalate concerns promptly
• Support patients with chronic medical conditions and complex care needs
• Administer oxygen therapy and assist with nasal cannula management
• Maintain peripheral IV access and perform line care/management
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams when needed
• Follow infection prevention guidelines and isolation precautions
• Float to other units within the organization based on staffing needs
• Deliver compassionate patient care while demonstrating strong clinical judgment and teamwork
