• Position: Registered Nurse – Med/Surg Telemetry
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Location: Columbus, Ohio 43210
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
• Schedule: Every other/third weekend required
• Floating: Required within the organization as needed
• Start Date: 11/2/2026

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Active compact or state RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with charting systems required
• Comfortable caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and float as needed
• Strong skills in telemetry, PCU/stepdown, IV management, and wound care preferred
• Ready to complete compliance requirements on an expedited timeline

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a mixed-acuity Med/Surg Telemetry environment
• Monitor telemetry, interpret dysrhythmias, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Support patients recovering from burns, plastic/reconstructive procedures, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
• Perform and assist with special procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
• Manage IVs, central lines, arterial lines, drains, and other common clinical therapies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, PT, radiology, pharmacy, and rapid response resources
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the care team to promote excellent patient outcomes
