Job Description:
This travel Respiratory Therapist contract supports adult critical care across intensive care, emergency, neonatal intensive care, medical-surgical, and telemetry settings in Corpus Christi. Responsibilities include assessing patients, administering oxygen and aerosol therapies, managing mechanical ventilation, assisting with bronchoscopies and artificial airway placement, supporting ventilator-dependent transport, and responding to emergent airway and resuscitation needs. The role may also include neonatal stabilization and resuscitation support. Respiratory Therapists work 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends and may float to another respiratory therapy department. Required credentials include a Texas Medical Board RCP license, RRT certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care, ACLS, and BLS.
