Job description
Provide skilled care as a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week travel contract in Kalamazoo. This night-shift assignment supports post-surgical and medical-surgical patients, with responsibilities including telemetry monitoring, wound and drain care, IV and PICC management, blood product administration, feeding tubes, tracheostomies, chest tubes, oxygen therapy, and non-invasive airway management. You may float to medical-surgical, ICU, or ED waiting areas to care for medical-surgical patients as needed. The schedule includes every-other-weekend coverage, required holidays, and no call requirement. Holiday coverage is part of the assignment, so flexibility with requested time off during holidays is important.
