• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Orientation: 16 hours
• Position Openings: 1
• Contract Type: Travel assignment with potential extension

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of combined permanent experience in the CVICU, Cardiac ICU, or a closely related critical care specialty
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• One reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty within the last 12 months
• Ability to work every other holiday
• Must successfully complete ECG rhythm recognition testing and safeMedicate during orientation
• All required credentials must be active and in hand at the time of submission
• Must be able to complete time-sensitive background screening requirements promptly after signing
• Travel nurses may only be submitted for one job at a time within the system

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to critically ill cardiovascular patients in a CVICU setting
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, therapies, and interventions according to critical care nursing standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support safe, effective patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient care and safety
• Demonstrate strong rhythm recognition and critical thinking skills in a high-acuity ICU environment
• Support a positive, team-oriented culture while delivering exceptional bedside care
