Job description
Join the team in beautiful Kalispell for a 13-week travel nursing opportunity in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) — where every shift feels like a new adventure. As a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of PICU experience (or 3 if you recently entered the specialty), you'll be at the heart of a dedicated unit caring for critically ill children with diverse diagnoses, including respiratory, neurological, and surgical cases. This role offers the chance to work independently at times, managing complex cases like ventilator management, wound care, and critical drips, all within a supportive environment that includes pediatric hospitalists, NNPs, and a transport team. Expect to work 12-hour night shifts, providing essential care in a well-equipped setting, and enjoy the opportunity to float between PICU and MedSurg pediatric patients, often caring for stable post-delivery couplets in the postpartum area. This role is perfect for a skilled and confident RN ready to make a difference in a dynamic pediatric setting.
