Job Specifics:

Location: Wausau, Wisconsin
Shift: 12-hour nights, variable schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Duration: 13 weeks, with a guaranteed 48 hours per week, approximately 36 billable hours
This assignment involves floating between Neuro Critical Care and MSICU units, with occasional coverage in other inpatient units as needed. The role includes performing neuro assessments, bedside ICU procedures, and managing neuro-specific devices. Certification requirements include WI RN License, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and successful EKG exam completion. Prior neuro ICU experience, especially with stroke, TBI, and neurosurgery patients, is preferred. You’ll need EPIC charting skills and familiarity with neuro devices such as EVDs and ICP monitors. Holiday and weekend work are scheduled on an alternating basis. A resilient, detail-oriented, and independent approach will keep you thriving in this role.
