ICU Travel Nurse Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800–$1,890
• Location: Cambridge, Ohio
• Assignment Type: 13-week ICU travel nursing contract
• Start Date: November 16, 2026
• Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour day shifts
• Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Every other weekend and every other holiday
• Orientation: Approximately 16 hours
• Openings: 2 ICU Registered Nurse positions

ICU Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license; an active state RN or compact nursing license is accepted
• At least 1 year of recent intensive care unit (ICU) or critical care nursing experience
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Ability to independently read and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry
• Recent experience using EPIC electronic medical records (EMR)
• Strong patient assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet alternating weekend and holiday coverage requirements

Critical Care RN Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting
• Perform ongoing patient assessments, recognize changes in condition, and respond promptly to clinical needs
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and independently interpret telemetry
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in EPIC
• Support safe patient transitions, patient education, and continuity of care
• Adapt to unit needs, including floating when required
