Join our team as a Histotechnician in Reno, NV, where you’ll play a vital role in preparing tissue samples in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting. You'll work in the busy Renown OP Imaging Department, processing specimens through embedding, microtomy, and staining, including special stains and immunohistochemistry. This isn’t your average lab job—expect to support complex procedures like bone marrow biopsies and autopsies, with opportunities to advance your technical skills in a Level 2 trauma center environment. The role combines technical precision with the chance to contribute directly to patient diagnosis, within a schedule that includes some weekends and holidays. It’s a contract position with 13-week duration, offering 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with weekly gross earning potential of $1,543.07. Experience in clinical histology and prior travel assignments are preferred; flexibility to float and work during peak times is essential.
