Job description
Join a rewarding 14-week contract at a children's hospital in Colorado Springs, where you'll care for young patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). This role is perfect for experienced pediatric RNs ready to make a difference in a specialized setting. Your days will be filled with engaging, hands-on nursing responsibilities, working a 12-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Expect to collaborate with a close-knit team in a 16-bed unit, providing care for 8 to 9 patients daily with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to expand your skills across PICU, NICU, Pediatric Med-Surg, and Emergency Department settings, with managed float requirements.
