Job Description:

Join an acute-care operating room team in Springfield as a travel registered nurse supporting a broad range of surgical services, including general surgery, trauma, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, transplant, and urology. You will work four 10-hour day shifts from 8:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with occasional weekend coverage and approximately one call shift per week. This assignment is suited for an experienced perioperative nurse who is comfortable with complex cases, trauma care, emergency response, surgical instrumentation, specimen handling, blood products, and universal time-out procedures. At least three years of operating room experience, general OR and trauma experience, BLS certification, and an active Illinois license or license application are required. CNOR certification and Cerner experience are preferred. First-time travelers are not accepted.
