Job description
Join us for a rewarding 13-week travel contract in Rockford, Illinois, where you'll play a vital role in the ICU team during 12-hour night shifts. This position involves managing complex trauma patients, including head, chest, and abdominal injuries, as well as stroke care with procedures like thrombectomy and embolization. You'll have the opportunity to work with advanced equipment such as ventilators, CRRT machines, and EVDs, and you'll be expected to have experience with ART lines, central lines, and titrating ICU drips. A sharp eye for EKG rhythms and monitoring is essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot RT equipment. This role offers a chance to experience a lively hospital environment that operates around the clock, with in-house hospitalists and intensivists supporting your efforts in critical care. The work is challenging, but the team is supportive, and your expertise will truly shine in this fast-paced setting.
