Job description
Join our team as a travel Critical Care Registered Nurse in Rockford, IL, and experience a rewarding 13-week assignment working 12-hour day shifts. This role offers the opportunity to care for complex trauma patients, including head, chest, and abdominal injuries, as well as stroke management and burn care up to 18-20% BSA without respiratory involvement. You will be working alongside a dedicated team, managing ventilators, medication titrations, and complex ICU equipment, including arterial lines, central lines, and CRRT. This position is ideal for nurses comfortable with titrating drips and managing advanced technology in a fast-paced environment. The unique setting involves working within a hospital that offers in-house intensivists and hospitalists available 24/7, ensuring continuous support during your shifts. Travel RN's will enjoy a balanced schedule with every other weekend off and holiday rotations, along with a thorough one- to two-shift orientation to familiarize you with the unit and protocols.
