Job description
Join a rewarding step-down nursing role in Hazard, Kentucky, where you'll work in a 34-bed PCU unit providing specialized care to patients recovering from acute conditions. This 13-week contract offers a unique chance to hone your skills in a focused setting, with every other weekend off to enjoy some local charm. The position involves rotating night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) within a team that values expertise in med-surg nursing and requires current experience in a similar environment. You'll use Meditech EMR daily, and you'll need to hold an active Kentucky or compact nursing license, along with AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
