PCU/IMC/Stepdown RN in Wausau, Wisconsin

Join us for a 13-week travel assignment in Wausau, WI, where you'll be part of a Med Surg Intermediate Care unit with 36 beds. This role offers 12-hour day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm, floating across inpatient units, primarily handling heavy tele, weaning vents/trach, trauma, sepsis, GI issues, orthopedic trauma, and stroke cases. You'll be working in a fast-paced environment that demands resilience and independence, with a focus on managing complex cases and adapting to changing circumstances. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced RNs who enjoy varied patient populations and the challenge of higher acuity care — and yes, you'll be the hero managing ventilators and trachs in this busy unit.
