Join our team on Unit 6 West in Morgantown, WV, where you'll be part of a specialized neuro unit focused on high-acuity neurological conditions. This 13-week travel contract offers a unique opportunity to work nights in a setting that emphasizes Neurosciences, Stroke, Seizures, and Postoperative Spine care. You'll be performing critical roles that keep the unit running smoothly, from managing patients with DBS implants to monitoring neurological deterioration, all while utilizing your expertise in Epic systems and neuro-specific skills. While the work can be intense, you'll be supported by a dedicated team of RTs, nurse aides, and experienced charge nurses, ensuring you can focus on delivering excellent patient care with a playfully serious approach.

Job Specifics:

This role involves the care of neurological patients, including those with strokes, seizures, DBS, and postoperative spine conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong neuro experience, proficiency in Epic, and current NIHSS certification (must be in hand at submission). The position requires flexibility for weekend work, holiday rotations, and possible float to other units as needed. You will work alongside a team that includes RTs, nurse aides, and charge nurses to ensure optimal patient outcomes, all while maintaining an engaging and professional presence on the unit.
