Job description
Join a vibrant team in Kansas City, MO, where you'll provide essential care in a 13-week contract as a PCU Registered Nurse. This role offers a unique chance to work in a renowned teaching hospital recognized five times as Magnet Aware, with a focus on specialty telemetry and cardiac unit skills. Your days will be full, with 12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, allowing you to experience the dynamic flow of this busy unit. As a vital team member, you'll handle post-cardiac procedures, manage cardiac drips, interpret dysrhythmias, and perform complex patient monitoring—making each day both challenging and rewarding. Expect to collaborate across departments, float as needed, and support a variety of cardiac and telemetry patients. If you’re a proactive professional with a minimum of two years of experience and certification in BLS, this assignment could be your next exciting chapter—plus, no weekend or holiday shifts are a requirement beyond the scheduled 8 weekends during the contract.
