Med/Surg RN in Wausau, Wisconsin

Join a busy post-surgical unit in Wausau, Wisconsin, as a registered nurse with at least 2 years of recent hospital experience. You'll play a crucial role in caring for adult and geriatric surgical patients, following their recovery from anesthesia in a fast-paced, 40-bed inpatient setting. The shift is 12 hours, with night shifts on a rotating basis, offering a blend of challenge and variety. You'll work alongside a dedicated team managing 10-15 admissions daily, with most stays lasting 2 to 3 days. This role provides a unique opportunity to hone your skills in trauma-level II care and post-operative recovery, with Epic EMR as your everyday charting tool.
