Join a fast-paced, post-surgical care unit in Wausau, Wisconsin, as a travel RN. You’ll be providing critical care to adult and geriatric patients recovering from surgery, with an emphasis on protocols in trauma-level II cases and post-anesthesia recovery. This 13-week contract offers a unique chance to work in a 40-bed inpatient setting, managing an average of 10-15 admissions daily. The shift is 12 hours, nights, with every other weekend and holiday coverage, providing a work schedule that balances intense teamwork with personal time. Expect to navigate Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, and Alaris pumps, all while coordinating patient care in a busy, high-occupancy environment. Your experience in Med Surg, trauma, and post-surgical recovery will be key to thriving here.
