ICU/CCU/Critical Care RN in Rapid City, South Dakota

Join our ICU team for a 13-week travel contract in Rapid City, South Dakota, where you'll work 12-hour days caring for complex, critically ill patients. This opportunity is perfect for experienced ICU RNs with at least two years of prior ICU experience—travel experience is preferred but not required. You’ll manage a diverse patient population, including surgical, medical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases, often involving ventilator management, vasopressors, and hemodynamic assessments. The unit is a mixed ICU divided into pods, with a nurse-to-patient ratio that varies based on acuity. This role offers a chance to experience the unique challenge of a busy, high-stakes environment while supporting a skilled team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and resource staff. The assignment features a fast-paced setting with opportunities to precept students and potentially float to other adult units, including Medsurg or Tele, based on your comfort.
