Job description
This travel healthcare contract offers a stimulating opportunity for experienced Emergency Department nurses who thrive in a fast-paced setting. You'll be working in a newly opened, high-volume ED with a capacity of 24 beds, including behavioral health and critical care rooms. Your daily responsibilities will involve managing 70-80 patients with a variety of diagnoses such as chest pain, abdominal complaints, shortness of breath, and uncontrolled diabetes, across a broad age range. The role requires high proficiency with EPIC and comfort functioning with limited resources compared to larger teaching hospitals. The shift is 12 hours overnight, offering an engaging challenge for self-sufficient nurses ready to handle a variety of high acuity cases in a busy, trauma-influenced environment.
