Join a dedicated team on a 13-week assignment in Wheeling, West Virginia, working night shifts in the Intermediate Care Unit. This role involves managing a variety of intermediate care patients, including those with complex arrhythmias, post-cardiac procedures, and heart failure. You'll be responsible for titrating drips like Amiodarone and Heparin, interpreting telemetry strips, and collaborating with in-house specialists, including hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists. The unit offers a balanced mix of private and semi-private rooms, with a patient ratio typically around 1:4 to 1:6. Expect a fast-paced environment that emphasizes skill mastery and teamwork, with some fun stepping into the shoes of a night owl on this rewarding journey.
