Job description
This respiratory therapy position at Maine Medical Center offers a stimulating 20-week contract working 12-hour day and night shifts. As an RRT, you'll be integral to supporting patients across various units, including neonatal, pediatric, adult ICU, and emergency care, often in a fast-paced, level 1 trauma hospital. The role provides opportunities to use advanced equipment like Drager V500 and VN500 ventilators, Hamilton T1 and C1, and ventilatory devices from Respironics. Expect to work with a dedicated team of 14-16 RRTs, covering a range of acute and critical care patients. This assignment is not your typical shift — it’s a chance to experience a comprehensive, hands-on respiratory care environment, with occasional call responsibilities and every other weekend work to keep you on your toes.
